Meetings

Rocky Forge Blacksmith Guild meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of each month. Meetings generally begin at 8:30 AM with coffee and social time, with a business meeting at 9 AM, frequently followed by blacksmithing demonstrations, and then forge time for everyone. We have taken to holding a potluck lunch sometime around noon. During the winter, we occasionally arrange for blacksmithing-related meetings, such as visiting welding shops and steel plants. Alternately, we may arrange for a demonstration of some interesting technique, method, or equipment.

Most meetings are held at the home of one of our members. Contact us for directions and information.

Events Calendar

May 11^th

The next meeting of the Rocky Forge group will be in the blacksmith shop at the Illiana Show Grounds in Rainsville on May 11. We will have a business meeting, will clean up the building in preparation for "History Day" on Monday, May 13th, and we should also have some time to do some blacksmithing.
