Membership
Any member of the public with an interest in or appreciation for blacksmithing is welcome to join the Guild.
The Guild does not charge membership dues. HOWEVER, all members are required to be members of the Indiana
Blacksmithing Association, Inc. (IBA). This provides us with, among other things, insurance coverage.
(There are, after all, certain dangers inherent in working with open fires, large hammers, and glowing hot metal.)
To join the Guild, simply come to a meeting and express your interest. You will be given an IBA membership
application. To join the IBA send in your application along with a check for your dues. Currently, individual
IBA memberships are $35.00 for an individual or a family. For more information, please see the IBA membership page.
