About the Guild
Rocky Forge Sign
The Rocky Forge sign is made of small square pieces, each made by a different Guild member.

The Rocky Forge Blacksmith Guild is a chapter of the Indiana Blacksmithing Association, Inc. (IBA). IBA is, in turn, a chapter of the Artist-Blacksmiths' Association of North America (ABANA). The Guild is one of several chapters, and covers the driving distance around the Lafayette-Attica area of Indiana and eastern Illinois. The Guild is also associated with the Illiana Antique PowerAssociation.

The Guild meets once a month, usually on the second Saturday. Check our events calendar to be sure. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need for beginners to bring tools, coal, or metal to work, as supplies are available.

Two of our members recently visited shop of blacksmith Lorelei Sims and also went to an exhibit of her work at Eastern Illinois University. Links to the photos they took are below.
