Meetings

Rocky Forge Blacksmith Guild meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of each month. Meetings generally begin at 8:30 AM with coffee and social time, with a business meeting at 9 AM, frequently followed by blacksmithing demonstrations, and then forge time for everyone. We have taken to holding a potluck lunch sometime around noon. During the winter, we occasionally arrange for blacksmithing-related meetings, such as visiting welding shops and steel plants. Alternately, we may arrange for a demonstration of some interesting technique, method, or equipment.

Most meetings are held at our blacksmith shop at the Illiana Steam and Power show grounds. Contact us for directions and information.

We will meet at the Illiana shop, with coffee and donuts at 8:30, and a business meeting at 9. This is a carry-in lunch, with nothing specific provided; please bring food to share. Details are in the August newsletter.
 

September 13, 2025

We will meet at the Illiana shop, with coffee and donuts at 8:30, and a business meeting at 9. Grilled hamburgers are provided; pelase bring a covered dish to share. Details are in the September newsletter.
